Retracting the Obituary !!! R.I.P. Underground Velo Forums

I am happy to report that reports of the death of one of the few non p.c. bicycle forums has been greatly exaggerated. There was an outpouring of support from members so now the forum has re-opened with a new url. He did however streamline operations and shut down his blog in order to conserve resources for his family. Believe it or not even a “free” blog that is being run as a hobby can get expensive if you expect to have quality content for your readers. So whenever you visit someones blog take time to leave a comment, click on an ad or watch a commercial every once in a while. We love our readers and want to know you are happy with us and want us to keep going. That little teeny tiny bit of assistance from the ads might be nice too.

At this time there are still many people in dire need of assistance, please click the Red Cross link below or give through some other legitimate organization.

A few months ago I did a profile on my friend Bighit’s Kustom Bicycle Forum. Unfortunately he is in New Jersey and has not recovered power yet (as of 11 08 12)and the expenses and time required just to survive, have led to him deciding to shutter the forum. at least for a while. Prayers and best wishes for all of the victims, of this storm and if you can reach out to help, be it through the Red Cross, your church, or any other organization please do so.

Wow Is it November already?

Haven’t posted in a while. I’ve been busy relocating the motopsyco.com world headquarters to Wilmington N.C. I will be posting the Recon re-assembly pictures soon and doing a little work on my Ninja, and will let you follow along. I have permanently closed my backyard cycle shop (at least for as long as I am gainfully employed). Motorcycles are supposed to be about fun! Of course I’ll do a lot more posting about bicycle stuff too. This is a serious bicycling town and home to the best damn bicycle shop I have ever been in in my life. Who knows? one day I might visit the other 5 or 6 bicycle shops in town too.
I have befriended a couple of other cyclists of both motorbike and pedal bike varieties. I’ll try not to leave you hanging so long next time!

Hello world!

Finally, after sitting on this account for a while, I’ve decided to take the bull by the horns and do something with it!

The topics will be anything on 2 wheels motored or not that I want to talk about, plus books, music, & freedom. Right now the custom bike focus will largely be on pedal powered machines because I am really heavy into customizing them. But my beloved Ninja is sitting in the barn waiting for any warm day!
