Thanks for the helpful tutorial. To remove my pilot jets, I used a short piece of copper tubing. I slid the tubing over the jet, (it was a snug fit), then clamped a small vise-grips onto the tubing. Then I pried the pliers up with a screwdriver. This method did not leave marks, and worked every time. Not sure of the copper tube size, 1/4?
